14/365: Crispy Pan-Fried Roasted Liempo

January 14, 2010

Not very healthy, I know, to deserve its second appearance for the week. I still had the marinated pork in the freezer, I thought I might as well cook it.  :-P

12/365: Gymboree Annual Membership GC

January 12, 2010

I seldom win in raffle draws held in blogger events, so this one came in as a total surprise.  I especially love that the beneficiary is no other than my cutie pie Jed, who I know is going to have a grand time, maximizing his brand new membership in Gymboree!

Thank you Pampers and Gymboree for this annual membership GC worth P1,800! :-)

10/365: My Boys

January 10, 2010

I took a quick shot of my boys just before we had lunch today at Chowking (check out the fuzzy image of the uniformed guy on the background). This Project 365 sure is pushing me to not be satisfied by my usual careless snapping away .  I know I still have a long way to go but I love it already that I have progressed from Program to Aperture priority.   Although being half way near Ken Rockwell is such a far fetched dream, allow me to just play with the idea that I can be 1/4 as good. :-)

9/365: UCC Strawberry Shake

January 9, 2010

This is what I had when the hubby and I went to UCC with Ms. Janette Toral and Mr. Gary Viray after Jonel Uy’s Let’s Go Swimming Party. Such fine, beautiful people. God bless their hearts. :-)

8/365: Leftover Fruit Cake

January 8, 2010

I was never big on fruit cakes.  In fact, I never quite understood why my mom would bother buying them every year.  This is the one fruit cake that won me over.  Loved it.  It was a Christmas present from the SIL. :-)

7/365: Cherries

January 7, 2010

I have been “breakfasting” on Maraschino cherries for two days straight now. No wonder sore throat is slowly creeping in. I love cherries! :-)

6/365: Framed

January 6, 2010

The  hubby and I got busy since we arrived home this evening, deliberating on which frames go to what wall.  Thanks to Canon Philippines for the Canon Pixma iP1980 Inkjet Photo Printer that Ramon G. Arteficio generously gave away during the Canon Rockstar Media Christmas Party held in Merk’s Bar Bistro in Makati, last month.  We have been printing away the photos that we have been meaning to have printed.  Hooray for Canon!!! Thanks to Dani of Agatep! You rock! :D

5/365: My Lamp

January 5, 2010

I took a shot of my office table lamp early today before we started homeschooling. I bought this for around a hundred and fifty bucks from Divisoria last month when I was shopping for Christmas stuff.  I love how it goes well with the simplicity of my home office and background drapes. (both not in the pic) :-P

4/365: Wood Work

January 4, 2010

Here is the hubby working on his office table for our home.  He has finished my workstation a couple of months back. After having thrown away all the bought wooden furniture we had after Ondoy’s wrath, there is no way we are buying non-solid, wood furnishings anymore from the department store. The only wooden furnitures that survived were the ones he made! -my kitchen counter and our son’s office/study table.

I’m just so proud of my ever reliable handyman! :-)

January 3, 2010

Taken at church today.  Jed beams with pride as he calls 6 year old Kuya Kevin, “his friend.”

2/365: Little Helper

January 2, 2010

My 4 year old son always loves to do his share around the house.  Aside from fetching drinking water for Mama, he loves to water this plant that we bought from Tagaytay last November. He gets creative at doing his chores. I guess that’s what makes it fun. I learn a lot by just watching my son doing these little everyday things.

1/365: Starting the Year Right

January 1, 2010

Talk about starting the year right.  This is actually the first time ever that I got a Wii Fit age of 25. After the lack of workout and added 3 pounds to my weight, I was delighted with this result from the body test that I did on my Wii Fit.It may not be very accurate, all right.  But allow me to just be comforted and encouraged to do better at working out this 2010! Happy New Year, y’all!
